I. ELIGIBILITY

• Group 1: Under 8 years old

• Group 2: From 8 to 11 years old

• Group 3: From 12 to under 16 years old

Note: Participation is entirely voluntary and free of charge; contestants are not required to pay any fees to submit their artworks.

II. TIMELINE

Submission Period: From March 18, 2026 – May 25, 2026 (based on postmark or hand-delivery).​

Preliminary & Final Rounds: From May 26, 2026 – May 31, 2026.​

Announcement & Award Ceremony: Early June 2026 (Published on Vietnam Children’s E-magazine - https://treemvietnam.net.vn, Vietnam Children’s Magazine Fanpage, and Vietnam Children’s Forum).

III. CONTEST SPECIFICATIONS

1. Each participant may submit a maximum of two (02) artworks on A3 paper, centered on the theme: “Happy Green Urban Landscapes”.

2. Artworks must be created on Eras Vietnam paper; the use of Eras Vietnam art supplies is highly encouraged.​

3. Entries must be unframed and created without the use of mixed-media attachments.

Implementation Steps (3 Steps)

Step 1: Share the artwork on the Vietnam Children’s Forum​

Purpose: To compete for the Media Award.

Vietnam Children’s Forum QR Code Link:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/diendantreemvietnam Contestants (or parents) shall register as members and share their artworks on the Vietnam Children’s Forum, accompanied by a description of the message and its significance.

Step 2: List the artwork for auction to support children’s charity activities and download the Online Certificate of Participation.​

Step 3: Submit the physical artwork - On the back of the entry, contestants must clearly state: (Grading will be conducted directly on the physical artwork)

• Mailing Address: Office of Vietnam Children’s Magazine, 5th Floor, No. 12, Lane 71, Lang Ha Street, O Cho Dua Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi. (Phone: 098 921 0376 or 098 977 7265).
• On the envelope, please clearly state: Entry for the 2026 “Dream Home” National Art Contest.
• General Provisions:​ Each artwork must be the original and creative work of the individual contestant. Copying or referencing others’ works is strictly prohibited. Group entries (2 or more people) are not accepted.
• Uniqueness & Creativity: Artworks must demonstrate creativity, novelty, and a unique approach to the theme. No copying or adult intervention is permitted.
• Artistic Elements: Balance and harmony in composition, color, and drawing technique.
• Invalidation of Entries: Entries are considered invalid if they lack required information, fail to follow the theme, do not meet size requirements, or are submitted after May 25, 2026.
• Rights & Ownership: All submitted entries will not be returned to the authors and shall become the property and copyright of the Organizing Committee. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to sell or auction the artworks to raise funds for children’s charity activities without any compensation to the authors.
• Media Usage: The Organizing Committee is authorized to use the authors’ information, images, and artworks for promotional purposes without seeking further permission or providing any compensation to the authors.

IV. PRIZE STRUCTURE

COLLECTIVE AWARDS

​• ​Schools with the highest number of entries (Applicable to art clubs, art centers): 05 prizes, each worth 3,000,000 VND + Certificate + Gift.

​• Best Media Promotion Award: 03 prizes, each worth 2,000,000 VND + Certificate + Gift. Videos that spread inspiration about the “Dream Home” 2026 contest. Please submit videos to: toasoantevn@gmail.com.

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

• 01 Special Prize: Worth 10,000,000 VND + Certificate + Gift

​• First Prize: 10 prizes, each worth 5,000,000 VND + Certificate + Gift from the Organizing Committee.

• Second Prize: 15 prizes, each worth 2,000,000 VND + Certificate + Gift from the Organizing Committee.

• Third Prize: 20 prizes, each worth 1,000,000 VND + Certificate + Gift from the Organizing Committee.

​• Fourth Prize: 30 prizes, each worth 500,000 VND + Certificate + Gift from the Organizing Committee.

• Inspirational Award: 10 prizes, each including 500,000 VND + Certificate + Gift from the Organizing Committee.

• The contest entries are received, documented, and selected by the Preliminary Committee (consisting of officers and staff of the Vietnam Children’s Magazine) based on meeting the contest criteria and possessing artistic value.
• The Preliminary Judging Council, consisting of prestigious art teachers and painters, evaluates and selects typical artworks to submit to the Final Judging Panel. Based on this, the Final Judging Panel conducts reviews, discussions, and ranks the awards.
